AN Kyongmo

Kyongmo joined Spintec on 15/04/2019. His research focuses on utilizing phonons to transport spin information at long distance. Before joining Spintec, he did his first postdoc at EPFL, Switzerland for two years as an EPFL Marie Curie research fellow. There, he studied Floquet topological insulator of magnons under time-periodic modulation of magnetic field. He obtained his PhD in University of Texas at Austin from 2010 to 2016, where he used Brillouin light scattering to study spin waves. The title of disseratation is “Control of Spin Waves using Charge and Heat Flows”. He had his Master’s degree from KAIST in South Korea. The title of his MS thesis is “Investigation of spin structure in Mn3O4 by NMR”
