Ryuhei KOHNO (born in 1994) joined Spintec in October 2019 as a PhD student. He is working on magnonics in the microwave devices team supervised by Dr. Olivier Klein and Dr. Laurent Vila. Their particular interest is the long range interaction between magnetic insulators mediated by phonon.
He obtained the bechelor’s degree at the Department of Applied Physics, University of Tokyo (2013-2017) in Japan and wrote his thesis under supervision of Dr. Daichi Chiba. Then he started the master’s degree at Université Paris Sud in France and did internships at Laboratoire de Physique des Solides with Dr. André Thiaville (2018) and SPEC CEA Saclay with Dr. Michel Viret (2019).
