SPINTEC laboratory and IFW-Dresden have agreed to strengthen their ties through an international collaborative agreement. This takes the so-called form of an International Associated Lab (LIA), supported by both CNRS and the Leibniz Society. Although the formal agreement enters into force on January 1st 2019 only, our two laboratories are already engaged actively in collaborative actions. These pertain to spintronic and materials, with special focus on novel 2D and topological materials for spintronics, flexible and chemically-grown spintronic devices, advanced magnetic microscopy etc. Following a visit of SPINTEC staff in Dresden during Fall 2017, on Nov 8-9th we are welcoming in Grenoble a delegation of our German colleagues to hold a common working workshop.
